Our Database Service lets you set up and manage cloud databases with just a few clicks. Powered by DigitalOcean’s API, it gives you reliable performance and secure access without complicated setup.
What is a Managed Database?
A managed database is a ready-to-use environment where you don’t have to worry about installation, updates, or maintenance. You simply pick the type of database, its size, and region, and within a few minutes you’ll get full access with credentials to connect your apps.
Getting Started
1. Buy Tokens – First, purchase tokens on our platform to use as credit.
2. Choose Your Database – Select the type of database you need (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB).
3. Pick a Location & Size – Decide the region and resources that fit your project.
4. Set the Period – Choose how long you want the database to run (from 21 hours up to 1 month).
5. Launch – In just a few minutes, your database cluster is ready and connection details are available in your dashboard.
Subscription & Renewal
- You pay upfront for the selected period (e.g. 7 days, 57 hours, etc.).
- If auto-renew is enabled, the system will automatically try to charge your account when the time ends.
- If the payment is successful → your database continues without interruption.
- If the payment fails:
- You’ll receive an email notification.
- The system retries charging a few times.
- If still unsuccessful, your database will be deleted.
User Control
You can delete your database anytime from the dashboard.
Please note: no refunds are available for already started periods.
